Abraham Lincoln
International University is a non traditional distance learning
university, with the ultimate aim of providing solid training for the
less privilege of the world at large, who are unable to attain their
academic goal in life, due to no fault of theirs, but financial
handicap. Though a non traditional university, our program is
tailored and designed to offer training the traditional way without
necessarily having to attend classroom. All courses are broken into
units, with each unit representing one academic semester as found in
the traditional universities. And at the end of each unit, students
are encouraged to write examinations in order to ascertain their
understanding of the subjects learned in the unit, which would have
been a semester in the traditional university. Abraham Lincoln
International University students are only allowed to continue to the
next unit until they have passed the prescribed examination of a unit
for which they have completed studies.
Because of
our understanding of the situation of our students, who are either
adult workers or busy business people, examination papers are
provided at the end of each study materials so that they can write
their examination at their own appointed time and pace. Experience
has shown that if students did not read the study materials enough,
and buy recommended books to support their studies, they may score
below the expected percentage for which success in the examination is
recorded . This is why we often advise our students to ensure that
they give a reasonable time frame to their studies. Apart from
ensuring devoted time to read the study materials provided by the
university, students are also encouraged to buy all books recommended
for the course. This is a self study program with core subjects
curriculum, textbooks and examinations. All these can be completed at
your own chosen time without any dictated time by the university.

for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men, we
adopt case study method as an interactive learning process that
brings complex and dynamic realities of business analysis and
decision making to the learning desk of our students. This we believe
is relevant to the need of business and management.
